Them Scoundrels is an alternative rock band from Long Island, New York. The band was formed in the fall of 2012 as The Scoundrels, a power rock trio featuring vocalist/guitarist Rich Morton, bassist Joe Crotty, and drummer Anthony P. The band was later re-christened Them Scoundrels when Tara Terrah joined the band as co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Tara brings a new unrefined and aggressive resonance to the band’s music.

The band has diverse Influences in alternative, hard rock, punk, and ska/reggae rock with a foundation rooted in classic rock which the band has used to formulate a unique, eclectic sound that transcend the different styles. They recorded their self-tilted EP at Sabella Studios with the guidance and expertise of Jim Sabella and Matt Murphy, releasing it on all platforms in 2015. The EP showcases the band’s ability to transcend musical forms with songwriting characterized by the core human emotions of love, loss, grief, and hope.

Over the course of the preceding years, Them Scoundrels have performed and shared their music at a diverse array of respected music venues in Long Island and New York City including Revolution, K.J. Farrell’s, 89 North, Arlene’s Grocery, Connolly’s Klub 45, and Pianos. Them Scoundrels have worked diligently and passionately to create a musical paradigm that is indicative of their love for music, and most importantly, their commitment to contribute to contemporary songwriting and performance.
